WER WIR SIND:
Wir - Chayenne, Oxana, Cynthia, Annelene, Catharina und Carmen sind ein Zusammenschluss von Künstlerinnen, denen soziale dokumentarische Inhalte am Herzen liegen.
Wir alle kennen uns vom Fotografie-Studium und haben bereits in kleineren Konstellationen Projekte zusammen fotografiert (wie zum Beispiel „NEW NORMAL“ von Carmen und Cynthia, sowie das „Ausdauer“-Projekt von Chayenne und unserem Gründungsmitglied Katharina).
Zum Leben erwacht ist das index.kollektiv Anfang 2021 gegründet von Chayenne, Katharina und Carmen, um durch den Verkauf von Fotografien Geld für gute Zwecke zu sammeln.
Inzwischen sind wir noch mehr Mitglieder geworden und wollen zusätzlich einen Fokus auf das gemeinsame Fotografieren von sozialen Projekten, sowie Wissensvermittlung von Fotografie in Form von Workshops für z.B. Geflüchtete und andere marginalisierte Gruppen anbieten.
Uns eint neben der (Dokumentar-)Fotografie und unser Streben nach einer gerechteren Welt, auch der sozialberufliche Background, wie z.B. das Arbeiten in einer Kita, Förderschule oder der Heilerziehungsberuf. Mit dem index.kollektiv wünschen wir uns soziale Themen, Gerechtigkeit und Fotografie zu verbinden - ganz nach unserem Motto: Zwölf Augen sehen besser als zwei!
WHO WE ARE:
We - Chayenne, Oxana, Cynthia, Annelene , Catharina and Carmen are a group of female artists who care about social documentary content.
We all know each other from our photography studies and have already photographed projects together in smaller constellations (such as "NEW NORMAL" by Carmen and Cynthia, as well as the "Endurance" project by Chayenne and our founding member Katharina).
The index.kollektiv came to life in early 2021 founded by Chayenne, Katharina and Carmen to raise money for good causes by selling photographs.
In the meantime we have become even more members and want to offer an additional focus on photographing social projects together, as well as knowledge transfer of photography in the form of workshops for e.g. refugees and other marginalized groups.
Besides (documentary) photography and our striving for a fairer world, we are also united by our social professional background, such as working in a daycare center, special school or the profession of curative education. With the index.kollektiv we wish to combine social issues, justice and photography - according to our motto: Twelve eyes see better than two!
